Utility Penetration

The Termistop flange is designed to stop termites from entering structures at the utility penetrations. Plumbing pipes and electrical conduits become a termite highway as the concrete cures and shrinks away from the penetration. The Termistop flange, installed at the mid-depth of the slab on a utility penetration, will "key" into the concrete and prevent termites from using these hidden areas to enter the structure.
