FAQS

What are Termistops?

Termistops are physical barriers to termites. Termistops are manufactured from high quality stainless steel mesh that termites cannot penetrate. The apertures of the mesh are too small for termites to squeeze through and the mesh is too hard for termites to chew through.

How do Termistops work?

Termistops are installed, at the time of construction, to critical termite entry points. In most houses, these are around plumbing and electrical penetrations through the slab. When the concrete is poured, the mesh "keys" into the concrete and creates a continuous barrier with the slab.

Why are Termistops a preferred choice with homeowners?

Termistops porovide homeowners a chemical free, non-toxic solution to prevent hidden termite entry into the living area of the home. Because the product is manufactured from marine grade stainless steel, it is expected to last the economic life of the home.

Who can install Termistops?

Only PCO's who are certified Termistop installers can install the Termistops.
